Meet The Weisses...
We're a Hi-Tech couple just trying to live an simple life. This blog is dedicated to our deepest thoughts and daily shenanigans. We spend our week days in New York City and our weekends in East Hampton, New York. Monday-Thursday we're keeping pace with the city's beat, the hustle, the bustle and energy of Manhattan. On weekends, we slam our breaks on (mostly on the Long Island Expressway), take a deep breath and try to achieve balance. And just when we thought we were on the verge of accomplishing our greatest goal, life threw us the most amazing wrench. We will be adding twins to our family in January of 2015!
If you don't already personally know us... creepy. Just kidding. I think... Mostly, this blog is for our family and friends. Life keeps us busy and while that's no excuse, at least you'll be able to see what's keeping us so busy!

My handsome husband and Physical Therapist/Author/Professor Extraordinaire! Scott may be the smartest, funniest, most motivated person I've ever met. He is a ball of energy and knows a little bit (actually a TON) about everything.
Scott owns a Physical Therapy company in Manhattan and loves to work with Elite Athletes. He's also written a biographical novel on one of his favorite people, Cus D'amato, the boxing coach that discovered and made Mike Tyson. Check it out at www.confusingtheenemy.com. Scott's most recent adventure involves teaching Long Island University's Entrepreneurship for the Allied Professional. And he still has the audacity to claim that he doesn't do enough!!!

Where to begin this intro?? Let's see. I moved to New York in 2006 following my heart and low-and-behold I met Scott within weeks of arriving. I attended Nursing School became a Labor & Delivery Nurse. Shortly after, I opened Baby Zone NYC, a Pregnancy Wellness Center. Check it out at www.babyzonenyc.com. I love what I do!
When I'm not delivering babies or teaching parents what exactly that involves, I love to travel, read, garden and connect with family and friends (usually over food and formerly wine). My latest obsession is.... Growing Healthy Humans!

The Saint/Vagabunda-Sin-Verguenza/Future Babysitter
Our first Furry Kid. Voted Best Dog by 99% of our friends. Sirius is seriously one of the smartest, sweetest, calmest dogs. She loves the outdoors, Rawhides and runs on the beach. If it were up to her, she would sleep outside, in a hole, under a bush, in the rain. She's a Dog's dog... But pretty and kept clean (usually). She is a dynamic and vital part of our life.
She may perhaps on occasion contribute with her own posts :). We are looking forward to hearing her thoughts on having the twins around

This goofy ball of love is the newest member of our pack. While his early days were plagued with chronic conjunctivitis, genetic deafness and frequent GI upsets, he has grown up to be the sweetest, most gentle 110-lb giant.
